My son is whiny, negative, disrespectful, and LOUD. Of course he is also loving, sweet, smart as a tack and a natural comedian, but I havent seen too much of that kid lately. Maybe its a phase? Congratulations! It looks like a great house (odd about the lack of tubs, but that's workable, I guess). I am so jealous that you have gotten to move to Colorado! That's my dream location. We're stuck here in SE Texas due to the petrochemical business. Sigh. ALMOST got to move to the Golden/Evergreen area a few years ago, but that fell through. I was depressed for weeks. As usual, I think you have the most beautiful kids and you're a great mom. Have a great new life in view of the mountains! The. Time. She always gets a chorus of "What's wrong?" "What can I do to help?" "Are you okay?" She never responds. This is a middle-aged wife and mother that has a seemingly perfect life... Then if I need other things (like this past week: bread crumbs, leeks, emergency milk) then I run to the store to pick them up. We don't do proper grocery shopping and make a lot of extra trips because of this. It really bugs me. I don't factor diapers into our grocery totals. I mostly don't even think about the diaper cost because then I'll start to hyperventilate. If I had to guess, then I'd say maybe $100 total, including Papa Spuds. There's four of us: I don't eat a whole lot (not health conscious, I just...kind of forget to eat meals), Chris (who would eat nonstop), Lex (air pie is his favorite) and Thalia (who takes after her dad). We eat three meals a day and snack at least once, maybe twice if it's a long day. We eat two vegetarian meals a week. We pack leftovers or sandwiches for lunch.
